Company History
Med NY is the newest and fastest
growing case management company in New York State. Initially
begun as a small, telephonic case management unit, Med NY has
grown to become a full-service provider of healthcare management
solutions.
Our Syracuse corporate office is home to our large
team of Telephonic Case Managers, under the supervision of Dee
Brown, RN; Director of Case Management. Our Syracuse telephonic
team provides expert case management services to claimants and
employers throughout New York State.
Med NY also employs a growing team of Field Case
Managers — strategically located in major metropolitan areas across
the state — to provide in-person, onsite case management services
at the local level. This
professional team of Field Case Managers has the expertise and
local contacts to maximize outcomes at the point of contact.
A key technological advantage of Med NY’s
service model is its proprietary Web-based case management software
called Xclaim. Xclaim
serves as the central database for all case and claims information. Clients
can confidentially review any and all information in a claims
lifecycle, plus access extensive reporting capabilities available
through Xclaim. Med NY is a paperless company, and offers
the latest technology in secure Internet communication.
Med NY is committed to being the industry leader in the provision

Tony D’Amato, V.P. of Business
Development & Client Services

Mr. D’Amato holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Personnel and Industrial Relations and has an MBA
from Syracuse University. Tony has more than 15 years of
workers’ compensation experience across a variety of
roles in both corporate and municipal management. |
Dee Brown, RN, Director of Case Management
 |
Ms. Brown is a 1975 graduate of the State
University of New York at Upstate Medical Center College
of Nursing and brings 30 years experience in nursing to
Med NY. She holds the rank of Captain in The United States
Army Reserve, having served almost 10 years in the Army Nurse
Corps as a MEDIC Instructor, Honorably Discharged in 1991. |
